On Halloween weekend from Thursday October 29th to November 1 st I went up to R-Ranch in the Sequoias with my boyfriend Robert. R-Ranch is in Kernville and it is a ranch that was converted from an old logging village. They have about 80 cabins, a pool, jacuzzis, a lake, fishing, boating, several game rooms, a general store and restaurant.

Please enter the password you were given.R-Ranch in the Sequoias, opened in 1989, in the footprint of a historic logging community turned ghost town. Many of the historic traditions such as Saturday night dances, Hiking, and campfires persist today. In fact, many artifacts and photographs are preserved in a small museum at the Ranch.Exit at the 2nd off-ramp “Kernville, Lake Isabella”. At the top of the off-ramp, turn left onto 155. Follow 155, “T” turn left at the (Sierra Way/Mtn 99); follow this road for about 27 miles. Pass R-Ranch sign and turn left down driveway entrance. Please stop & check-in at security. Use the radio to call security if unattended.
